Laraine Gordon, Sole Proprietor of Coast Hampton, has always had a love for salt life and all things coastal. Her vision and dream has been to create a wellness experience with a coastal setting in the community she calls home, Southampton, NY. Coast Hampton gives Laraine the opportunity to bridge her two passions, fashion & wellness, to offer unique/chic apparel, accessories and décor, along with a multitude of wellness products, such as - Essential Oils, Local Honey, Plant Essences, Herbal Teas and Herb Infused Salts. Crafted by local vendors and artisans in sustainable jars and bottles.
Coast Hampton offers classes and wellness workshops led by the local makers, and Gordon herself, a licensed psychotherapist, who has spent the last 30 years in private practice and presenting health, wellness, and positivity-centric classes and retreats to audiences across the United States.
Laraine Gordon is a Registered Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW-R in the state of New York. Laraine has worked as a psychotherapist and hospice medical social worker over the last 30 years and provides psychotherapy for individuals, teens, and families. Laraine holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Psychology, graduating from Stonybrook University magna cum laude. Laraine’s style is solution-focused, empathic, highly engaged, and sometimes humorous. Evidence-based therapies that draw from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and experiential techniques inform her practice.
As a therapist, life coach and doTERRA Wellness Advocate, Laraine loves incorporating doTERRA essential oils into her private practice, wellness retreats and workshops. Essential oils promote healthy living and can be used in many ways such as aromatic diffusion, topical application, and dietary consumption.
In April of 2007, Laraine established a not-for-profit organization called Time for Teens, Inc. Time for Teens is an innovative 501c3 charity program providing bereaved teens and their families with an annual retreat as well as counseling and scholarships throughout the year. As of 2023, TFT is in its 17th successful year of programming. Laraine is the Founder of Time for Teens. Partial proceeds from Coast Hampton's initiatives will go towards Time for Teens efforts.
